Using Skips on Public Highways

To use any of our skips on public roads, you are required by law to obtain a permit from your local council. This will cost between £30 and £100 and may take between 7 and 14 days to be awarded. For this reason, we would recommend getting your application in as early as possible to prevent delays. As part of our extensive skip hire services, we offer to apply for your permit on your behalf.

If you do wish to use one or more of our skips on public roads, we can supply you with the necessary health and safety equipment. We supply packages that include cones, reflectors and lights. We require a £30 deposit for this part of the service. We will return deposits to clients in Beckenham and South London at the end of the hire period.
